Our Mission
BSA Troop 485 is dedicated to building character, citizenship, and personal fitness in the youth of San Antonio. We provide a supportive environment where young people can develop leadership skills, explore the outdoors, and make lifelong friendships.
Our troop emphasizes the Scout Oath and Law, encouraging scouts to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

We are proudly chartered by VFW Post 7108 in Helotes, Texas. The Veterans of Foreign Wars has been our steadfast partner in providing a meeting place and supporting our mission to develop young leaders.
